Tested: officially recognised negative test results.
Vaccinated: confirmation of vaccination status by means of a paper vaccination certificate.
Recovered: a certificate of segregation or a doctor’s confirmation of an infection that has occurred in the past six months and has currently passed.

what regulations apply since 19 may 2021?
since 19 may 2021, accommodation establishments in austria are again allowed to open for all types of overnight stays.
both proof of a low epidemiological risk (3-g proof – vaccinated, recovered, tested) of the guest and registration for rapid contact tracing are mandatory. the proof must always be valid when using services of the establishment (e.g. gastronomic facility, wellness and fitness area).

the guest must keep a minimum distance of two metres in generally accessible areas from persons who do not live in the common household or do not belong to the group of guests in the common accommodation unit, unless there are suitable protective measures for spatial separation. in addition, he/she must wear an ffp2 mask (children between the ages of 6 and the completed 14th year of age only require a close-fitting mns, below that age none at all).
gastronomic facilities in accommodation establishments may be entered for the purpose of serving food and beverages between 5 am and 10 pm. groups of guests are treated the same as persons from the same household.
every establishment needs a covid 19 officer and must draw up and implement a covid 19 prevention concept.
operators and employees with direct customer contact must show a valid 3-g proof every 7 days and wear a tight-fitting mechanical protective device covering the mouth and nose area. if no proof is provided, an ffp2 mask must be worn.
